Syrup

How do I store my syrup product?

Once opened, store the slush syrup in a cool, chilled environment. For best quality, use it within 30 days. After diluting the syrup, it should be used within 3 days for optimal freshness and taste.

How do I mix my syrup product?

Each product will state it's mixing ratio on the bottle, please follow these instructions.

Machine

Should I turn my machine off during closing hours?

It’s recommended not to turn your slush machine off during closing hours.

Keeping the machine running in chill mode (refrigeration) helps maintain the quality of your slush, preventing product deterioration and reducing the risk of damage.

Additionally, keeping the machine on ensures that no ice buildup occurs, which could potentially jam the mechanism or cause issues when restarting.

What should I do if my Slush machine is leaking?

If your slush machine is leaking, first check for any loose or damaged seals around the bowl or the machine’s connections. Ensure that the bowl is properly secured and that all seals are intact. If the leak persists, carefully inspect the drain or overflow areas for blockages.

If the problem continues after checking the seals and drainage, contact our support team for assistance or use the form below, and we’ll help resolve the issue.

My machine isn't making slush, and the mixture isn't cooling. What do I do?

In all probability you have a refrigeration problem, of which there are two main causes. Firstly, the compressor may be faulty, generally not running at all but sometimes appearing to run but not pumping correctly.

Secondly, the machine may have a leak in the system and has lost its gas. In this case, the compressor will be running but to no effect.

The other possible cause is that you have a fault on the electronics delay board meaning that there is no power getting to the compressor and therefore it does not run. To check this you need to connect the compressor directly to the mains power to test whether it is working.

The Slush is runny and the machine is hot?

If your slush machine is overheating, start by checking for a blocked condenser, as dust, fluff, or grease can block airflow. Ensure there’s enough space around the machine and that the fan is running properly. Also, verify that the slush mix is properly diluted; too much syrup can strain the compressor. Lastly, if necessary, adjust the thickness setting.

If these steps don't resolve the issue, feel free to contact us for further assistance.

One of the barrels does not freeze

If your slush is too thick, the issue may be with the thickness screw. Try loosening it, turning clockwise on most machines (counterclockwise on Ugolini). Over-diluted syrup can also cause ice chunks that damage the mixing mechanism or gears.

Spiral mixer not turning?

If the spiral isn't spinning, the issue is likely with the gear motor, particularly a cracked or stripped middle gear (CABEL7) in machines using the Elco motor (Faby, GBG, Sencotel, Frutina, SPM).

Check that the slush is diluted correctly and ensure there’s no ice buildup when the machine is turned off. For optimal performance, avoid switching off the machine with slush inside and use chill mode when not in use.
